Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest peak in Africa and the World’s tallest free-standing rises approximately 4,900 m from its base to 5,895 meters above sea level. Climbing Kilimanjaro – the rooftop of Africa is the experience of-a-lifetime, and anyone who is physically fit can hike this snowcapped mountain.

The mountain is located inside the Mount Kilimanjaro safari park outside of Moshi town in a beautiful accessible village of Marangu where the headquarter of the park is located. There are different climbing routes on Mt. Kilimanjaro to the summit involving different villages and scenarios. These climbing Kilimanjaro routes includes Marangu route, Machame, Rongai, the Lemosho route, Umbwe route, Shira route and Mweka route which is used for descent only.

The eco-zones of Kilimanjaro range from tropics to the Arctic. The foot slopes inhabited by leopard, Cape buffalo, African elephant, antelope and monkeys. Walking stick, proper clothing, sun glass, enough drinking water and determination are the key to a successfully Mount Kilimanjaro trekker.

Climbing Kilimanjaro is regularly climbed in 5 days via Marangu route, Kilimanjaro climbing tours is a breathtaking activity and its recommended you take an extra day for acclimatization. Other Kilimanjaro climb routes offer a minimum of 6 days such as Machame route.

Our team which will take you to the mountain will comprise a cook(s), mountain guide and mountain porters. Depending on the nature of the group but a minimum of two porters per person carrying less than 15 kg of your luggage, cooking facilities and sleeping tents depending on the route selected. One guide for 4 to 5 people with one assistant guide and one cook. Additional of the team members will be arranged according to the situation of the group and luggage taken to the mountain.

While trekking Mount Kilimanjaro the Marangu route is referred as the luxurious route on the mountain due to the fact that it has huts for accommodation, European toilets and sufficient water. Other Mount Kilimanjaro climb routes are subjected to the mobile camping tents whereby all the facilities are carried by your porters and in most cases they will hike faster than you for the preparation of accommodation, food and water on your arrival

We are local owned Tanzanian registered Kilimanjaro climbing company and our guides have guided thousands of climbers up to the mountain for a couple of years and providing 98% summit success rate. Both guides have attended wilderness first responder (WFR) course and will always be there for any emergency.

At The Camp

All our climbers are wakening up in the morning with a cup of tea, chocolate, or coffee before heading to the dining tent for the main course. Lunches are served hot at the lunches stops and we don’t give our climbers cold lunch pack
